The Watchmen Movie

This looks to be pretty good as far a movies go, and for something that will sell to an audience that has now idea who the Watchmen are, but I still look at everything as been too clean, or too... refined. Since its supposed to be a cold war era story, the characters seem too well equipped for what they're doing, they look too advanced. Still, it will be interesting to watch since this is one of the greatest graphic novels in comic history, one that made the most impact on the comic industry, for effects that Alan Moore didn't necessarily want.

Yeah, there's the trailer for it, and I will say, its eye candy and it looks to be entertaining if I'm not closely relating it to the graphic novel. But then again, I like every other comic book fan, am biased. Its really hard to please us, and so far, its been the new Batman, Iron Man, Hellboy and the newest Hulk that have really given us something to enjoy.

I'll still see it, cuz even if its gonna be not as faithful to the graphic novel, I should remember that there are so many things that work well for comics, that don't for film. And especially with graphic novels, the amount of information in them I think would be better suited for a mini series rather than trying to pack it all in a 2-3 hour movie. But of course, somethings still gotta sell these days.
