On evil
It was probably three years ago that whichferdinand and I were getting something to drink. Since I'm the easily influenced type, I expressed some doubts about getting a coke, since according to certain segments of interest of anglophone LJ Coca Cola was an evil corporation. WF remarked in characteristic wisdom then that it was a fair exchange of services: just as I was supporting the evil corporation it was supporting evil me in return.
I think I wasn't quite ready then to accept myself as evil, but I've been coming to terms with the idea progressively since. Three years later I am fairly certain that at least some large corporations are not only far less evil than me, but are of the most ethically stringent and morally correct entities to ever exist.
