TGIF
Well, we're off in a couple of hours to fly to Calgary for the weekend. We're celebrating Bill's brother's (Ken) & his wife's (Lori) 40th birthdays. Hard to believe... he was only a couple of years out of high school when Bill & I met! Come to think of it, in May Bill & I celebrate our 19th anniversary. It will be nice to see the family and hopefully get a chance to do a little shopping in Calgary. Not too much, I'm saving my pennies for when I go to NYC later this year. Then I will shop!!
I've been off my antidepressants now for about 1 1/2 months (after about 4 yrs taking them). Still feel really good... had a couple of rough days last week, but got through them & if that's all I have to put up with is a couple of bad days every month or so, then that's way better than taking pills all the time. I hadn't realized how much the meds had been affecting my sleep until I was no longer taking them. Now I'm not awake til all hours, watching bad TV shows & sleeping til noon.. I sleep really well when I do go to bed & wake up at a decent time feeling refreshed. It's wonderful, especially now with Spring here!
I finally made a comment to Christin on MDC in the Etc. column. She's so quick to criticize others for what she calls immature posts, etc, and she has to tell Heathir how she made a mistake about Nicole's post. Big deal!! I just thought that was really petty. Of course she tried to turn it around on me, but I'm not having any of that. Not the same thing at all, as far as I'm concerned. I haven't gone around criticizing just about every other poster on the forums for their posts. The woman is THICK!!!
