Yesterday
Yesterday was my birthday. It was wholly uneventful. I received one birthday card (from my grandparents) and that was it. My mom, being jobless at the moment, didn't have money to get me much in the way of gifts, but she got me some Hello Kitty stickers, stationery, and a new sleep mask. My friend Suzanne got me Shinhwa's "The Classic" but it hasn't arrived yet and Heather is sending my present later in the month. Also Alexx is going to take me out for a belated birthday dinner when he gets back from Indy but yeah, that's pretty much all I got/get for my birthday. What's funny is I don't even want a whole bunch of stuff or anything expensive, you know? It just would have been nice to receive more cards. Oh well.
I basically slept all day and then we went to grocery store where I picked out stuff for my birthday dinner and picked out my cake. Thanks to food stamps I got to have an awesome dinner, so that is the bright spot of the day. Grilled swordfish & steak, fresh green beans, and baked potato with a sushi appetizer. Delicious yo~ Major food purchase splurge for the year. Well, until Thanksgiving anyway.
Now it's back to spending as much time playing Sims and the Altador Cup as I possibly can until Monday. Summer classes start Monday. I DON'T WANNA DO MATH! *weeps openly* So so soooooooooooo NOT looking forward to this. *sigh* Just gotta suck it up and get it done if I wanna graduate, so... yeah.
