i can fly so high...
So just popping in, just to let you know I haven't gone all weird or anything, but that i'm still on holidays and haven't had internet access the whole time (except now hehehe!) and its been.... good Of course i've missed speaking to all mah girls online, and i've been thinking about you all now and then, but this has been such an amazing holiday of dong nothing that I feel so refreshed and vibrant to go in and kick arse for the next FOUR WEEKS of uni and then be done with it!
I'm in Alice Springs, hanging out with mah mummy. ITs been great, just hanging at home, doing little things, helpng mum at her work at The Residency. We went to Henley On Todd (the "world famous" boat race on the sand...I wonder how many people OUT of alice springs have even heard of it?) which was fun. I've bumped into quite a few old school friends, and one or two ex boyf/flings ARGH! Small towns...sometimes are toooooo small! Done some work at my mums old school, just listening to readng and correcting some work.
Yesterday my mum organised a surprise for Adam and me. As lots of you know i HATE surprises and yet my mum knows this and continues to want to surprise me (maybe thts the reason? hahaha) But it really was the BEST fun. We got picked up on a bus, taking 20 mins out of town to the oldest cattle station, got given motorbike helmuts and pointed towards the BIGGEST FARKING QUAD bikes ever, and went on an hour and a half ride around the station, through dry creek beds, over salt plains, twisting and turning through tight paths through bushlands, and up and down over hills and rocky outcrop thingys. It was so much FUN, i got so freaking dirty, and i even attempted a jump on my quad bike. My need for speed went into overdrive, I don't think I touched the brake the whole time! hahahaha Very exhilirating and lots of fun! I shall load up the photos for next post!
So i'm still away for another week and a bit, here till Monday, Adelaide till sat i think, then home in time for my week at school!
