HOBY Lives On
It's crazy some of the connections you make.
I thought that HOBY was a really insignificant part of my life- at first. Everyone there was competative and not showing their true selves. They were all after the prize (which at the time we weren't sure what it was). Well, the majority anyways. Now on campus, I've met so many (good) people it's unbelievable! I even met my old roomate in the elevator from THREE YEARS AGO! She looked familiar, but by this time, just about anyone in the building is. I still haven't found any pictures of the guy in my History tutorial. He remembers me from HOBY... but I'm not sure how. He wasn't in my group...
Wow. HOBY was soooooo long ago. Seeing her just made the memories start to flow back. The tasks, speakers, public speaking afterwards.... the ride home. Amazing.
After three years, I thought I would never say this, but:
I miss HOBY.
