Title: Second Star to the Left (and Straight On 'Til Tuesday!)
Author(s): dazzling_icer
Artist: carolinablu85
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: I do not own the characters of Luke and Noah (or other ATWT characters), nor do I claim any ownership over the legend of Peter Pan. Those rights belong to PGP, and to the orphanage that JM Barrie sold the rights to Peter Pan to a long time ago, I can't remember the name...ANYWAY. IT'S NOT ME.
Characters/Pairings: Luke/Noah, Natalie, Ethan, Maddie, Casey, and other various Oakdalians disguising themselves as Lost Boys.
Word Count: 10.4K (WIP)
Warnings: Umm...EXCESSIVE schmoop, under-age kissing (both boys are 16), pirates, Indians, and fairies.
Spoilers: None! Umm...unless you've never seen any Peter Pan movie ever, or ever read the novel.
Summary: Luke Snyder is a 16 year old boy who refuses to grow up. He would rather spend time with his younger brother and sister reading fairy tales or playing make believe out in the Snyder Barn, than be stuck inside playing crappy video games with people his own age. His favorite tale is that of Peter Pan, whose adventures he recites to Nat and Ethan every night in their nursery before bed. But what happens when Luke discovers that the legend of The Pan is not just a legend when a mysterious boy flies into his room one night looking for his lost shadow? And how will Luke react when he suddenly finds himself in Neverland with a boy who can not only fly, fight, and crow, but who also has the prettiest blue eyes he’s ever seen?

Author’s Notes: So this fic started off as a silly outline between myself and carolinablu85, who shares my love for plotting Nuke as Disney characters. Or umm...any movie characters, really. We kinda have a problem. ANYWHO. I decided to take this particular #DisNuke outline and turn it into my BB fic! I've taken elements from JM Barrie's original novel, as well as Walt Disney's animated motion picture, and the movie "Hook" starring Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman. There also might be a slight nod toward "The Princess Bride" in there, but that's beside the point! Make it a fun game to guess what reference in the fic belongs to what movie/novel! It's fun!

I really really really really really really REALLY have to thank Ella for this. Who not only helped me with EVERYTHING along the way (plotting, cheerleading, beta-reading, etc.), but she ALSO took on the job of being my artist! She made an AMAZING fanmix to this story, which you should all go to the art post and DL and listen to RIGHT NOW. GO. It's beautiful. And perfect. And amazing. Which is exactly how I would describe Ella. I owe her so much thanks, I have no idea how I would even begin to make it up to her. So thank you, Ella. For being super special awesome, and for being the other half of my giant cookie. ♥♥♥

Thanks also needs to be extended to the lovely mods of NukeBB, (frances_veritas, freakykat, and noelleleithe) for organizing all of this and being so patient with me when RL was throwing things at my face and I had to keep stalling this. Y'all are God-sends, and I appreciate all of the hard work that you had to do! ANOTHER big thanks goes out to the girls on Twitter (a big cookie for especially for jackie_oh who was just an awesome rock throughout this whole thing) for being awesome and encouraging the whole way! YOU ALL ARE WONDERFUL AND I LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORDS! ♥

Umm...this is getting to be a long-ass author's note, and for that I apologize. But please, I hope that you all enjoy this! I will try to get the rest of it finished and posted before too long! Thank you!

And oh...title of this fic was taken from a quote by the Scottish actor Sean Biggerstaff (Oliver Wood in the Harry Potter films, and Ben Willis from the FANTASTICALLYAMAZING film Cashback).
