As promised, HUGE picspam of pretty much every single Damon/Elena scene ever since the show returned from the hiatus. I wanted this to have a sort of scrapbook feel to it...took WEEKS but i can honestly say i enjoyed every single second of staring putting this together XD

Shirtless Damon, Sexeh Delena scene...nice way to begin after the comeback ♥ I love it when Elena is freaking out when Stefan walks in on them. Ummm, I don't think she should have reacted that way if she was just buttoning his shirt ;)
I seriously love Damon's facial expressions and i thought Ian was brilliant when Damon figures out that Isobel is Elena's mom and the look on his face changes completely from that smirk on his face to regret. He puts enough into it that you can see the pain in his eyes too. And this scene, imo is when we can clearly see that he does care for Elena, and knowing Damon, she's probably the only one who brings out that side of him <3
For me personally, my obsession went to a whole new level because of this scene because it is essentially the first time we've actually seen them this close. Maybe the bloodlines episode but even then, they didn't understand each other as much as they do now. And of course, hello protective Damon <33 If it was anyone else, he would probably force them to get inside and do some work instead of just sitting there watching but it's different with Elena. He's going to keep her safe!
Very subtle, Damon! Insult Alaric and show your love for Elena at the same time! That line dfoiasjdfodjfasos <33 All this can't just be happening sub-consciously...he has something for her and he knows it. Because srsly, Damon doesn't exactly value anyone's life...like he said, "they're all for his taking" Then why in the world does Elena's life mean anything to him? She obviously means more to him and well, he does realize this later on but this episode really sets up the beginning of their feelings for each other, at least for Damon.
Did anyone notice Damon comforting her after he kind of loses his temper? Like he just stated the obvious but he still sees that he hurt her and well the arm-patting...DJOFSODIFJSDF saw that screencap and squeeee'd like crazeh! And can i just add how much i freakin love Damon's line, "his love lifts you up where you belong". Gets me every time! Never change, Damon! I love how he can be serious and light-hearted at the same time.
Alaric sees it. Alaric ships it. Trufax.
Oh God, I LOVE THAT LINE SFM! and Jeremy's idgaf attitude but Damon teasing Elena like that right after she tells him to shut up is hilarious. And just so i'm not missing anything here, i don't remember Damon being in her room with her knowledge, just when he was watching her sleep. Shouldn't she catch that when he said "just like I remembered"....idk i'm still trying to figure that one out. HELPMEPLZ!

I always find it amusing how Elena just always starts looking at his lips instead of listening to him. I've seen it a lot of caps, even before they were this close.
And of course, Damon goes straight for the lingerie ;D
When we got promo pictures, this was the scene i was most excited about. not as good as i expected because of camera angles but just gotta say single rose>>>>>bouquet (got it Stefan? no wonder you're losing the girl!)
And i love how he smells the rose and everything before giving it to her...the small gestures add so much to a scene and Ian does really well with picking those up.
Someone posted this already but i had a strong sense of deja vu when i saw this scene. It's just like Titanic ♥ OMFG HOW EPIC IS THAT?! Like anyone needs any more reason to love this scene more than they already do. And cheesy as it is, her walking to him strangely reminds me of a wedding, i think it's the look on their faces...well the groom, at least. It's hard to tell for the bride because of the veil but you get the point, i don't need to rant on forever! I do love her dress, btw and obviously Damon looks amazing in a suit.
Major eyesex! And the near-touch is so sexeh! I would have liked it better if they kept some kind of instrumental instead of a song. Maybe that's just me but i think it would have added more to the scene. And i seriously love how this scene had brightness in it, made colouring so much easier and u could actually see their eyes (especially Damon's because Ian is one of those actors who can emote through their eyes as well).
I love the little smiles they keep giving each other through the entire sequence and how they really didn't care what was going on around them (they did almost bump into Caroline at some point). And Elena definitely didn't want to let go, looked like it physically pained her, and well i don't blame her ;D
Just when you think it can't better than a Delena dance, they throw in this scene. The artistic composition of this just...mind=blown. He stayed with her. He STAYED. I wish it didn't get cut off their though. I would've loved to see if they talk, just stare at each other, fall asleep or what?!
I split this episode into two sections, instead of having the order they took place in, they had this episode all to themselves (squee) so i split it into their serious and their playful side. This being the serious one, they're just discussing the Salvatore's past. And fail for Elena somehow figuring out that in a way it's Damon's fault...but i could let it go since i really love, and i mean love when she runs after him and grabs his arm. I'm not sure why but i do.
And protective!Damon returns when he says "he won't be long"...it just kicks in that she may not be safe after all...well, she is, but knowing her she'll go to Stefan anyway.
MAJOR CUTENESS. OMG. I see like 2 other couches but he still makes room for himself on this one. BY PUTTING ELENA'S FEET IN HIS LAP. It's just way too cute, i can't even describe it. I love the little moments just as much as the big ones.
And the phone call, well, it's Damon. Another question, what kind of animal was she expecting for an answer? I mean, what was she gonna do, go running after squirrels? Still love it though, plus Damon totally rushed the conversation with Alaric as soon as she called haha
RETURN OF PROTECTIVE DAMON~VOILA...
I seriously adore their phone conversations...shows how comfortable they've gotten with each other and their conversations are always priceless! First, that puppy with cute floppy ears and now "i hate myself"...have i mentioned how much i love this guy?!
Anyways, Stefan totally gave him the look that he stole his line when he told her she didn't have to see him. Just cuz i wanna throw this in somewhere - Damon threatening Isobel is also all sorts of epic!!!
Damon's always being stubborn but he always ends up having to give in to Elena. Love that little hand-holding thing they have going on here ;D And it's really nice to see him continually trust Elena, even though she did betray him in Children of the Damned...

That's what happened, for real! and i decided blurring out Stefan wasn't enough and was totally destroying the mood I mean, look at him! Would you be able to resist that much attention coming from that amount of sexiness?! But seriously, I really don't care that Stefan and Bonnie were there to spoil the moment, I still loved it. Damon's doing great with stealing the girl, and i completely approve :P
She only wants him to stop because then she really can't resist. I seriously love, LOVE their playful side. There's a difference between Delena being sexy and Delena being adorable. I actually like the shot with all three of them just hanging on to each other but this is Delena picspam, sorry Stefan!
Never has Damon been as vulnerable as he is in this scene. This was Elena's speech. She needed to hear it. She's the one who brought out these emotions in him anyway, his human side. I don't care if it turned out to be Katherine ngl I love that bitch, Damon thought he was talking to Elena. And that's what really matters.

But I'm not complaining, there's no prettier way to end this picspam than that kiss :P
