Yeesh...
First, before I get into why this day sucked, Happy Birthday, Trae! :)
Now, today kind of sucked hard for me. First, I didn't sleep well at all last night, so getting up at all was a problem as far as I could see. Hubby wasn't doing much better, but being that I didn't get to the comic book store last week, I insisted we needed to drag our asses from the house for just a little while to get my haul.
No worries, right? We'd be there and back again in no time! We didn't even bother dropping the munchkin off with the grandparents. So we get there, go in, I fangirl with the LCS gal for awhile, buy my books and life is good.
Then we get out to the car. It won't start. Not even a sputter. Its not the battery because all teh lights are coming on and the radio is working. So, my first guess is the ignition. And if that isn't bad enough, it starts snowing. Not just a little. I'm talking full out blizzard. Well fuck. There goes getting a tow truck in less than two hours. Would have helped if the moron that took our call to AMA the first time had ACTUALLY SENT THE TRUCK OUT IN THE FIRST PLACE!! So make a two hour wait a four hour wait (or longer... hubby's still with the car).
Luckily, Mom has a car seat for the munchkin in her car and she came by to get me and the kiddo. And lucky she did because just as we got to mom and dad's the storm got a whole lot worse. Like, couldn't see across the street worse.
I don't know how long hubby is going to be, or how he's going to get to work tomorrow. I'm tired, frustrated and I just want to curl up. Ugh. Its been a really crappy day. *sigh* But at least I got my comics. *headdesk*
