I'm still alive...
ARRRRRG! So, here's the deal. I will probably not be around much this week. Why, you ask? Oh, because the desktop computer that I was assured would work just perfectly... DOESN'T! Thank god I managed to get everything copied to an external hard drive before the whole system went FUBAR on me, but I will be working from hubby's beat down POS laptop (on which the I key doesn't always work and it runs slower than... well, anything) if I'm online at all. This means no messenger for me... at all. God I miss you guys! *HUGS*
I have taken this time and poured it into writing... actually writiing. With a pen. On paper... its been a long time since I've done that. Know what I've discovered? I type faster than I write, and I don't type fast enough to keep up with my brain when its really going so... you can't imagine how well this is going. That and spell check has destroyed by ability to spell. On the lighter side of this, I'll probably have the next chapter of Letters Home up when I fully return.
Hopefully, we'll have everything figured out by the end of the week... I'm letting those better versed in such things deal with the problem honestly. So, yeah, I don't actually know the extent of what is wrong. The brother in law and hubby are trying to figure it out, but we may just have to wipe the whole freakin' thing and start over... or so I'm told. Again, thank god I got the files off of there.
