Geeze, I had no idea it had been so long since I posted anything! I guess that's what happens when the plot bunnies take you hostage. lol I've been pounding away at the X-fic I'm reserecting, and I had to make some major changes to my OC's history due to a sudden moment of inspiration. *Headdesk* That wasn't easy, but when would I ever just take the easy road? Never. lol On top of that, I've had a smattering of one shots floating around in my head, and I'm trying to get a few of those down, just to make room for all the other ideas that seem to be creeping in. And then there's the MSV chappie I'm fiddling with (that would be the Hogwarts version) which is becoming harder and harder to focus on due to the X-bunnies that have taken my brain for their own. *sigh* Maybe I should just sit down and have a Harry Potter marathon to kick those muses in the butt a bit. I'm sure that would work.
I'm also obsessively checking for Mutant Sue Virus updates! lol I suddenly realize what I've put my poor Hogwarts Sues through! LOL It's official, the Virus is addictive and we're all turning into junkies. But really... who could blame us? All those yummy wizards and mutants... mmmm.... goodness.
My iPod seems to be plotting against me focusing on any one muse for too long. Want an example? Okay, I'll give you one. I was working on a one shot about Gambit... mmm, yummy. Shouldn't be too hard to focus... that is until my iPod decides to distract me. Somehow, it's really hard to focus on my favorite Cajun when Boney M.'s "Rasputin" is blaring in my ears. LOL So I gave in (after giggling like a school girl for a minute or two) and started working on a Colossus one shot. But apparently that's not good enough either, because shortly thereafter the iPod shuffles to Alannah Miles' "Black Velvet", which always makes my mind wander over to Mr. LeBeau. *headdesk* So yeah, the iPod is fucking with me. LOL I'm sure to a normal person, this wouldn't be an issue, but I can't write without the right music, so I was at the mercy of the iPod. Yes, I know, I could have switched the song, but the damage was done. LOL
Let's see... hmm... what else is there? I've been horribly neglecting my housework. I just can't get the motivation to clean up. It's not too bad yet, but if this continues, I'm in trouble. I will not be getting the Housewife of the Year award, let me tell you.
