RIP Frankie Daniel Smokovic
February 2, 1986-November 14, 2003
"The strong shall survive,
The weak shall perish."
He wished no one a last farewell,
Nor even said goodbye.
He was gone before we knew it,
And only God knows why.
They say time heals all sorrow,
And helps us to forget,
But time so far only proves
How much we miss him yet.
God gives us strength to face it,
And courage to bear the blow.
But what it meant to
"love" and lose him
No one will ever know.
his life was too short. and i knew him too well. besides grandparents, i have never known some who died that was this close to me. its fucking taking the life out of me and making me realize that it does happen to young people too. i wont forget all the times you made me smile Frankie. and all the times we just hung out in my room, doing nothing, for hours at a time. thank you for everything you taught me, and all the things and truths you showed me. Everyone makes mistakes, yours was a great one but i know God is taking care of you. nothing can hurt you now Frankie boy.
