Of all the fics I've read, this one makes me cry the easiest. Not sure why. The whole section about the gray hair had me all teary-eyed. From the very beginning, I can see them so clearly, sitting there with that album across their laps, their kids gone off to live their own lives. Such a beautiful story, I always enjoy each "page" of it. Thanks for writing :)

Ahem. Well. I don't really know what to say to that, other than a huge thank you! Honestly, I thought this chapter had turned out one of the worst, which my beta told me was complete rubbish but I guess maybe I was just nervous? Believe it or not, this story has been my first foray into the explicit, as opposed to "fade to black" scenes. It's been difficult to write, and every time I've had to put myself into a mental space where I'm looking at it completely objectively, writing about it as if I'm writing them talking about their days at work over dinner. No wonder it takes me a while to write, haha! Aaaaaaaand the essay ends here.

I also like the fact that they go through the book on the 27th August, it's my birthday so it makes the story feel more personal to me :)

I do thoroughly adore me some top!Kurt, so this is lovely and so hot while being very natural at the same time. Also, the bit about their graying hair towards the start is especially nice. I have always loved the image of them growing older together, and passages like that are very true to the snapshots title of your piece. Wonderful.
