Sexual Frustration: The Journey Continues

Apr 30, 2008 01:34

As many of you know by now, the last three years of my relationship with Jimmy have been as chaste as a nun. As I learned the hard way? Never work on a project with an ex-lover. I mean I can respect the person ended the relationship, but the said person got upset when someone else expressed interest in me and created a stink about it? I love sex, I just don't like the drama that goes with it.

Anyway I hope all goes well in West Palm Beach.

Thank you. I keep meaning to do an update on the apartment sitch.

Yeah, that's the only downside of sex...too much drama afterward. Well, not always. But often enough. I think that's one advantage of age--knowing enough about sex sitches to keep as much drama out as possible. Or maybe I'm just too damn jaded to care.

I don't think I've ever worked on a project with an ex-lover, but I'm definitely taking your word for it. I've never been friends with any of my exes. Ever. Made a stab with Jimmy and I learned my lesson on that one.

I have been friends with my exes. The thing is that with me and my significant other. We have been together 13 years in an open relationship. My ex-lover likes to think she was polyamourous but in reality was jealous and posessive. There has been no drama and never will be between me and my sweetie. But then again me and my sweetie don't work professionally together and thats a good thing.

Never sleep with platonic male friends.

I have that rule too. I would hope some of my male friends have the same rule!

They don't--that's why you have to have the rule.
