Everything happens during the last minute

So after sending an S.O.S. because I couldn't get my damn Sony Sound Forge to divvy up my files properly, I finally managed to put out a half-assed effort on CD. With the emphasis on "assed". It was so bad, I had to trash it. Looks like I'm merely giving away business cards for another convention (although I did get the mix online--at least I can point them to my site, but it's not the same thing).

So what do I see when I log into MySpace this morning? A couple of my DJ buds giving me messages filled with helpful hints. As Adam Sandler said in The Wedding Singer, "This could have been brought to my attention YESTERDAY!"

Ah well, online is better than nothing, I guess. Six hours until my flight takes off.

Dear K-Rock:

Have you looked at the charts lately? The Radio & Records charts in particular? See what's been #1 on the Rock and Active Rock charts for the last 6 or 7 weeks, as well as topping Alternative? That's right--Puddle Of Mudd. Why the hell aren't you playing "Psycho"? Come to think of it, why aren't you playing Puddle Of Mudd at all? Did Wes piss in your cornflakes back around 2002? You know, playing one less Ozzy or Tom Petty track a day wouldn't kill you, I promise.

Oh well, the three NJ stations I listen to constantly play them. Your station blows anyway.

Go drift and die,
Cynthia

P.S. When are you going to fire Opie and Dopey already?
