Fangirling makes things better!
So I got the Officially Official Word tonight that I'm no longer part of my derby league. I'm sad, but at least the captains were straight with me, which is all I ever really asked for. If I feel up to it, I'll write more about it tomorrow night. I'm still going to be taking that skate class on Sunday afternoons.
Meanwhile, this cheered me up a bit. This is the video for "Drift and Die". I'm not getting much past 0:31, because Wes is not wearing a shirt.
That's definitely going to entertain me through work tomorrow. ^_^
Also cheering me up a bit was an e-mail my realtor sent just now: He said that he ran into an old friend who owns a DJ business, weddings, school dances, and the like. True, it's not in the same category as a club residency, but it likely would be more money, and it is what I love to do. Crossing my fingers that it works out.
By the way, Jimmy still hasn't sent my shoes back yet despite promising last week. Maybe he's jerking off over them. Or maybe he's playing another game of midlife-crisis-hide-&-seek. Fuck him. ::goes back to staring at Wes without a shirt::
