In trying to keep my head in this time of stress and more stress, I have seen two movies in the last two days...mmmm...
Lady in the Water: Wonderful, though I don't know why when told to expect a fairy tale most of the audience seemed surprised that it really was an honest to god bedtime story type fairy tale. I have also learned that most adults seem to consider themselves above fairy tales, given the response to the movie, and I think that may be the root of all the problems with our society.
My Super Ex-Girlfriend: MMMMMMMMMMMM EDDIE!!!!! need I say more. Though I generally consider Luke to be the lesser Wilson as far as comic delivery is concerned, he was quite good. EDDIE!!!!! I also thought that Uma did a very accurate portrayal of what it is like to date me. EDDIE! Have you guessed yet what my real motivation was for seeing this flick..... EDDIE!!!!!!!!! MMMMMMMMMM EDDIE!!! (like Angel only less forhead)
