(no subject)
my two final projects seem to be getting bigger instead of smaller... this is not helping hte stress level. and both of them are "prelim" due a week earlier than originally thought, which means one week from thursday, so that we can crit them in class and then redo them for final grades and portfolio pieces. i guess that's good in the long run, but YIKES!
did sam's b-day/we'll miss you party today. he LOVED the cake and photo and such, so that was good. (yes, there is double diablo cake left over in my fridge if anyone wants to take it off my hands.)
speaking of cake, had a scare yesterday when bandit ate a bag and a half of chocolate chips yesterday WHILE MAX WAS WATCHING HIM. i found a sick sick puppy about 4 hours later (no call from max) and had to make an emergency vet run. he was running around and seemingly fine a few hours later, but i'm pretty sure i had a minor heart attack.
ok, ending happy news. went over my solo in choir practice tonight which went half-way decent despite no prior rehearsal. and we got two new songs for the non-mass performance, the sister act hail holy queen which we actually did last year and the '12 days after christmas' which is almost too dark-humor for a bunch of catholics, but it's greatness!
