I guess it would probably be the year I turned 19. It had been a long-ass day: I was doing the last matinee for a musical I was stage-managing, and we had to tear down the set and clean up the prop house right afterward. I was just gonna head home and crash, but when I got out to the parking lot, one of the actors had backed into my car and scraped the shit out of the side. My friend Daniel saw how upset I was and invited me to come and hang out with his friends to cheer me up. I know it's weird to pick this birthday as my favorite, considering the amount of shittiness that happened, but really, this one had the best balance of shitty and non-shitty of all my birthdays.
Day 19 - Something you regret
Boys. I regret them all. I regret the ones I don't talk to when I should; the ones I can only say stupid things to; the ones I hurt. Just once I'd like to meet a boy that I'm truly attracted to, but can still talk to without sounding retarded.
