well, on the plus side(s)
today is the first day I ever - in the almost 21 years I have owned it - used the sewing tool on my swiss army knife properly. I unstiched a pocket in my new jacket.
The needle of my knife is really wide, guess for sewing through canvas or something, so my whole life I never really was sure what it was for. But today, natural and easy there it was.
Well, let there be no complaining.
The jacket is XXL. Impressive.
Normally I'm an XL here. The last jacket I bought in Australia was an S.
The store lady said the cost was 200. I offered her 150. She explained to me, in Chinese, that the store had a no negotiation rule, pointing to a sign on the wall that to me was indecipherable.
yes, I understand, I understand.
I offered her 180. And straight away she accepted.
this time leaving me a little baffled - wah...?
I didn't know whether to feel guilty about the jacket (do I really need this? (yes I do)); but as I was on my way to the beach, I took it with me and it was cold so I wore it and it kept me warm. So, great.
A bike drove into me, hurting my leg a little (superficially). I guess it was my fault because I didn't see them (I'm a little sick). She said "Sorry, sorry, sorry" I said "sorry" too, too flustered to use any Chinese.
