“Ryou, you should smile more.”
Atobe’s statement was met by an indignant scoff.
“That’s so lame, Keigo.”
“Ore-sama does not say lame things,” said Atobe haughtily, flipping his hair for effect.
Shishido rolled his eyes. “Of course, you don’t.” He reached up to ruffle his boyfriend’s hair teasingly before plopping down to rest his head on Atobe’s lap. “What made you say I should smile more?”
“Why should you not?” retorted Atobe, still a bit annoyed that Shishido had messed up his hair. “You wear a scowl on your face most of the time. You do know that could cause wrinkles, right?”
“Whatever,” replied Shishido. Sure enough, a scowl was on his face. He realized this and tried to keep a poker face. “Does it bother you?”
“Maybe a bit,” admitted Atobe, stroking Shishido’s short hair absentmindedly. “What if you were upset with me and Ore-sama couldn’t tell?”
Shishido scoffed. “Of course, you can tell, Keigo. If I was upset with you, then I’d probably announce it to the world. Stop lying, and get to your point.”
Atobe smiled. “I just want to see you smile more, Ryou, is that such a crime?”
Shishido could feel his face heating up. Looking everywhere but at his boyfriend above him, he said, “Oh.” Oh, how eloquent was that.
Atobe chuckled, and leaned down. Shishido had no choice but to look at him.
“I love you, you know,” whispered Atobe, smiling softly.
“I love you, too, Keigo,” whispered Shishido back, not bothering to hide the small smile he was sporting.
“Well, that’s more like it,” said Atobe before swooping in to capture the other’s lips with his own.
