Halloween and A Couple Sorta Updates
While we don't do much for the holiday, might as well talk about it and add in a couple other things that are going on. So, for Halloween we went out to dinner and to the movies, which we couldn't do last year, but now things are a bit better. I went steampunk this year. I had a top hat with googles, gloves, blouse, striped pants, and I borrowed my mom's black boots and black socks. It was fairly comfortable for a costume. My mom went as Cruella. She spent the whole month figuring out the makeup. She was kind of going for this year's movie version. My dad went as nothing as usual. Grammy also joined us for dinner at Red Robin. Got me the new fondue bacon cheeseburger. That fondue was really to die for. I would have happily just eaten that with the fries. After dinner we stopped by Walmart to pick out candy to bring to the theater. I got a Whatchamacallit. :D We were going to see The Last Duel, but made a sort of last minute decision to see something else. That film has some deep themes, that I don't think I was really in the mood for right now. So we changed to the animated Ron's Gone Wrong. It was a good choice. Cute movie. Just needed more lightheartedness in my life. I'd like to see The Last Duel some day though. Probably rent or stream it at home. When we left the theater, my mom wanted to go to this one neighborhood where one of her tennis friends lives because the friend's neighbor won an award for the best decorated house. It's weird because when we drive by the actual friend's house, her house looked way more impressive and should have won. Otherwise there were hardly any decorated houses on that street. Probably because not everyone's ready to participate in Halloween just yet. I wasn't super into the Halloween spirit this year, but it's always nice to get out and still fun to dress up.
Now, as for updates, well I'm finally almost finished with The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. I'm on the last case, so there's not much left to go. I'm looking forward to moving on to other games tbh, but this has been really good. My next post will probably be about the game. If I finish it before the next Disneyland trip that is.
I also watched the first episode of season thirteen of Doctor Who yesterday. At least, I think this is season thirteen? It's been branded differently, so I'm not 100% sure. Anyway, I will save my thoughts for when I go over all the episodes later, but I will say so far it has been a lot lol.
