Illness at Disneyland Part Two
We went to Disneyland yesterday, but first I've been battling the worst cold of my life. I seem to say that with every new cold I get. They just seem to get worse. And I've had it a while and I'm still not over it. Plus I have to go to the dentist very soon now. Ugh. Edit: I went to the dentist. Luckily my sickiness wasn't bothering me too much. Something about being poked in the gums is somehow more distracting. >_> Also apparently I broke another filling. Whoop-de-doo. >_> But I just can't deal with the dentist anymore while I'm sick, so I had the appointment made for next week to get it fixed. Hopefully I'll be fine then. That sure would be nice.
The sickness started on the 27th or 28th I think where I had a tickle in my throat and clearing it was not making it go away, so I had a sinking feeling this was the beginning of something. Sure enough the next day came the soreness and coughing. I was like that for a few days and then the virus progressed to my nose where it has been living ever since. Stuffy, runny nose and a lovely nasty chesty cough. >_> I haven't had a nasty cough like that in a while. I'd like to think I'm slowly on the mend now. My energy levels have been a little better, but I still have the nasty symptoms.
So yeah, I thought there was a possibility Disneyland may not be that bad because the last time I went when I was sick in October, it turned out OK. Not so this time. I was walking around like a zombie with a nonstop runny nose. We went to get fastpasses first for Star Tours and then we were going to head to It's A Small World when we saw the line for Finding Nemo Subs wasn't too bad, so we got in line for it. Of course I was feeling miserable while in line and before the ride was over I knew I couldn't really do this. We went on Star Tours after. Actually saw Kylo Ren and Poe Dameron appear for the first time, so that was cool. I still wanted to go to lunch though. I wanted to go to the Rainforest Cafe because I don't know how much longer it's going to last because it might get taken out for that new hotel to be built. >_> I got fish and chips and they tasted funky so I don't think I would order that again. Then I told my mom I was ready to go home, but we had to pick up turkey legs for dinner first. Ugh. So back to the park we went and then finally we got back home and all I wanted to do was curl up in bed. That was nice for ten minutes, but then I wanted to play Skyrim so I did that. :P
Disneyland was crowded anyway (In February!), so whatever. I couldn't enjoy myself anyway. I was barely aware of anything lol plus I kept needing to go to the bathroom to blow my nose. :/ Hopefully no more sickness for next time in March.
In gaming news, well I'm still working on The Dream Machine. On chapter four of six. There were a couple of days I lacked the mental capacity to even play it, so I would play Skyrim instead. That still might be the case sometimes so I'm getting through it kind of slowly.
