Pumpkin Cheesecake at Disneyland
Tuesday we went to Disneyland. The main purpose was for my mom to return her dress. She didn't want to stick around after that. I convinced her otherwise, saying we should at least go on Indiana Jones and maybe Haunted Mansion Holiday. We did get a fastpass for Indy, but Haunted Mansion was too long a wait and they weren't distributing fastpasses for it that day. We did do some other rides too. I remembered that they did something new on the inside of Alice in Wonderland. Wait time for the ride said 30 minutes, but it only took about 15. This day wasn't quite as crowded as when we went two weeks ago, but there were still a lot of people. I like what they have done to improve Alice, they've added in animation sequences from the movie and a new animatronic Alice. I was only disappointed they took out the Cheshire Cat head at the end. I liked that part because it was kind of an optical illusion trick for the eyes. Instead there are animated dancing teapots, which I suppose makes sense because it's the tea party and there was no Cheshire Cat there, but I'll miss him. We also rode on Star Tours, which was a short wait. Thunder Mountain also had a short line. One of the other reasons why I wanted to come back to Disneyland this month was to try their pumpkin cheescake, and I did and it was super good :)
At the end of the day we went clothes shopping...again. It's too bad I was too late to get that pajama top I wanted. The bigger size that I needed. They no longer have it anymore. Disneyland replaces their clothing lines frequently, and especially now since the holidays are coming up. But I did end up getting a couple of shirts I want to bring with me on the Hawaii trip. I wanted to have something Disney since we're staying at the Aulani, the Disney resort. So I ended up getting this purple Pluto t-shirt, which I'm going to use for pajamas and I also got a pink shirt of Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas for daytime wear. I'm actually wearing it now. Fits with Halloween. :)
Speaking of which, we're suppose to go out tomorrow night to the movies like we always do, but we haven't decided what movie yet. My mom and I are going to dress like the Pink Ladies from Grease. It's supposed to rain though...too bad for the Trick-Or-Treaters.
The Hawaii trip is only a week away. Leaving on the 6th and coming back on the 16th early in the morning. I think we got a plan going for Oahu, but for Maui not as much, but we will probably be going on a snorkeling trip to Lanai and see Haleakala and the Iao Needle. All things I've done before, but everything is new for Kourtnei. I'm ready for paradise.
