What I Got For Christmas
My laptop is busted and I'm pissed, but anyway...I got all the things I asked for for Christmas. I also got some items that weren't on my list, which were these
*David the Gnome TV series on DVD - This was a surprise. I loved this show when I was little and haven't seen it in a while.
*A Cat in Paris - This is an animated film I've never heard of before, but apparently it was nominated for an Academy Award. It's also French
*The Brave by Nicholas Evans - A book Grammy got me. I've also never heard of it, but it's written by the author of The Horse Whisperer, which I've never read. I don't think I've even seen the movie. Maybe part of it. It sounds kind of interesting, but probably a blind buy on Grammy's part lol. She thought it was based off of a movie. It doesn't have a very good rating on Goodreads, but we'll see what I think of it.
Also this is what I got in my stocking
*3 magazines - one's called Night Stalkers: True Stories about Zombies, Witches, Werewolves, ect. So it's basically a horror magazine. I've been reading it at bedtime, which is probably not a good thing to do lol. The other two magazines I got were a Popular Science magazine about the end of the world (December 21st) and a magazine about The Hobbit.
*2 coloring books with stickers (yep) One is Angry Birds themed and the other is Cars themed
*Smoked oysters (yep I love em)
*I also got a Hobbit Lego set, which I built while waiting until everyone was ready to open presents. It took me a while to build though because my fine motor skills are really crappy.
*Last thing I got, which was out of my stocking next to the fireplace was an Angry Birds bean bag toss
