Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

So we saw Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen on IMAX yesterday. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't as good as the first movie. It was cheesy in parts and while the humor in the first movie was good, this time it was way over the top and too crude for my liking.

However, it made me wonder if anyone had tried to come up with their own transformers, draw them, ect. I started thinking of different vehicles turned into transformers and looking them up on deviantart. There's some really creative ones out there. Check out these transformers made out of the Death Star and the USS Enterprise

It made me want to come up with my own transformer. I decided I wanted to draw one based on our Toyota Four-Runner. I knew this would be extremely difficult, if not impossible because for one thing I'm terrible at drawing human like figures, and also I can't draw mechanical stuff well either. So, it would be a pain in the ass to draw and I knew I would do a mangled job of it, but I decided to attempt it anyway. And it turned out to be not so bad and even better than I thought. I based my drawing off of Bumblebee, so I had printed out a picture of him and the Toyota Four-Runner for reference.

I have no idea how it managed to look fairly good. I wasn't really thinking much about what I was drawing. Just drew random shapes and somehow it worked out. I decided to name him Rocky.

Hmm, so they usually say celebrity deaths come in threes. That's just really of a case of looking for patterns and finding them. Today a fourth celebrity died, although he wasn't as big as the other three. Bill Mays just died, the infomercial guy who tries to sell you OxyClean among other products. I always found his commercials kind of amusing. I'll never forget the whole "Hi, I'm Billy Mays here..." spiel. He was only 50. RIP Billy Mays. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/2009/06/28/2009-06-28_tv_pitchman_billy_mays_found_dead_in_florida_home.html

It's strange how all these celebrities are dying right now.

One last thing, I was reading bad reviews of the Holy Bible (reviewed as literature of course) over at Goodreads. They were so funny. It really made my night. Here's the review that made me lol the most http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/19786477.
