Medieval Times

Medieval Times was pretty fun. Some parts reminded my mom and I of Star Wars. There was a guy in dark robes and we thought he was Lord Sidious, and then there was a guy in white robes who we thought was Luke Skywalker. The music even sounded like Star Wars. I think they changed the storyline of the show since we last saw it. We got great seats in the front and we cheered on our red knight who was winning most of the battles until the green knight cheated and ran him through. There was much booing. It was fun.

We didn't get to see The Dark Knight this weekend because IMAX was completely sold out, even for buying tickets online, which is what we were trying to do. The only way we'd be able to see it on IMAX is if we went to the 6am showing, which just wasn't going to happen. So, I won't be seeing it until next weekend. Bummer. I don't know how I'm going to wait that long, but it will probably be better. Less crowds. This movie is going to make insane amounts of money. I'm sure it will even break some box office records.

So, I mentioned in my last post how I wish life was like a musical. Yeah, I feel that way after every musical I watch. It's one of my fantasies. Why can't we all walk down the street and start breaking into song. Then everyone will join in and dance around like the "That's How You Know" sequence in Enchanted and "Dancing Queen" in Mamma Mia, or that one musical episode of Scrubs That would be really cool. Maybe there are some people out there trying to do just that. Now I know in this video the people are Improv performers, but what if life was like that, or maybe there's someone out there trying to do events like these to start up something and get people to sing along with them. It probably would never work, but it's a cool idea anyway. Well I thought this video was pretty funny and cool. It's called Food Court Musical.
