Enchanted
So, we saw Enchanted yesterday. It was really funny. The live-action portion felt like I was watching animation, which you'd understand if you go see the movie. It's also like a wish fulfillment for those who ever wanted to see what happens when Disney characters enter the real world. Amy Adams did a phenomenal job as Giselle, so I chose her animated form for my userpic. :D
I loved all the references to classic Disney films, but I realize I missed many of them. So, I'll definitely be looking for them whenever I see it again. Oh yeah and the songs were great. My favorite was a song called "That's How You Know." It's a fantastic sequence. Also I had read a short interview in Backstage Pass saying the songs would stick in your head. They were right because they did stick in my head and are still playing, lol. Go see the movie, it's really great. It's just one big tribute to the Disney that we know and love.
Edit: You know those references made me want to look in the trivia section on IMDB. I actually want to do that for every movie I see now. For example, last night we watched The Incredibles again and there's a lot of obvious references to James Bond in that movie. It makes me wonder how many other movies have references to other movies, hehe. I could spend hours having fun looking up references.
