Fun With Wiki Again

Ok, it started out where I was looking up what people thought were some of the weirdest dog breed mixes. So then I was looking up pictures on Google and came across this site http://www.worth1000.com/cache/contest/contestcache.asp?start=1&end=10&contest_id=797&display=photoshop
a Photoshop Chimera contest. So, I was entertained looking at those for a while. Some were very well done and looked real. Then I was looking up hybrids on Wikipedia, looking at different wolf, dog, coyote and dingo hybrids and different hybrids of cats. Then a few clicks later I came across parahumans. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parahuman Then I got to thinking wouldn't it be cool if someone wrote a science fiction story about parahumans? Well I know they already did with H.G. Wells Island of Dr. Moreau. However, I was thinking more along the lines of a future where these animal human hybrids were fighting for their rights because they faced discrimination and prejudice from "normal" humans. It would be a great human values story. Alas, it's another one of my many ideas that probably won't be completed let alone written, at least not by me. Maybe someone else will or has already.

One more thing: Mission Viejo is still ranked the safest in the U.S. Like I said before, I'm not leaving. And the least safest? It was not really a surprise to me, but it's Detroit. Article here http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071119/ap_on_re_us/dangerous_cities

My city is famous!
