Lost Creativity

Last night my dad proposed to me that we should write a sociology book together. He mentioned this because he was saying how this new technology is supposed to improve productivity in the work force, but his observations proved the contrary. It is true that with this new wave of technology it actually does hinder work performance rather than improve it. Think about it. We're practically always logged on or plugged in all the time. Carrying a cell phone around all the time makes people call you more and thus it wastes a lot of time. I know sometimes it takes hours for my dad to go through all the emails he gets from work. So yeah, having new technology isn't always a good thing.

Then my mom said "Well I still think if we put our heads together we could come up with a really cute kid's story." Both my parents fail to realize that I have lost practically all my creativity over the years. For me to produce a story these days is a rarity. The story I posted on here is an example of such a rarity. I don't know when, how or why I suddenly lost my creativity. It just sort of happened, and I find it deeply frustrating. I can't come up with creative ideas for drawings or stories anymore like I used to. I can only hope that one day my creativity will return.

I finished my paper this afternoon. Unfortunately I had to submit it to turnitin.com which detects plagiarism. I hope it doesn't find any. I made sure not to plagiarize. I did my citations, but I'm still a little worried.
