Couldn't get on here the past couple of days. I was busy and people just wouldn't let me on. Now I'm not sure if I will be able stay on long again. My mom already set a timer on me. Damnit!
Anyway Saturday I was dragged to Hemet because we had to work on cleaning my Grandma's mobile home. That place is disgusting. You don't even want to know the amount of grime there, and she was a smoker which makes things even worse. I didn't do much, but it had felt like I did a lot. I just couldn't take it. Scrubbing in over 100 degree weather, there's just no way. The swamp cooler wouldn't work. My parents weren't happy with my brother and I because we quit. It just felt like a waste of time to me because nothing was getting clean. Either we are going to hire someone to fix it up, or just sell it as is, but I don't know how we're going to manage to sell it.
Then later we went to the lake in the evening with Donna and Eric(Donna's husband) and some other neighbors to a concert. My brother didn't go though. He went to his girlfriend's. Rocco Deluca and the Burden were playing there. They are best known for their song "Colorful." I was surprised the lake was featuring them because they're a newer band. Some examples of bands that have played in the past are Peter Frampton, The Motels, Pat Benetar, and Berlin. Berlin was the last and first group I saw there. It was a great time. First we had the opening band, which was Brooke Ramel. She sounded like a mix between Stevie Nicks and Cyndi Lauper. She even sang "Time After Time" very well. She was very good. Then Rocco Deluca was just awesome. He really is amazing with his guitar. If all you know from them is the song "Colorful" their other songs are really different. It's said that one of their influences is Pink Floyd, and I could tell from hearing it. It did sound a bit like Pink Floyd. Also Rocco has an incredible voice. This is what rock and roll needs now. More bands like this. It was the most wonderful experience I've ever had. Also he seemed kind of nervous when he was talking up there, hmmm....also he does a song called "I Trust You to Kill Me," which is great btw. They are kind of experimental and do their own thing. Did I mention that this is what rock and roll needs right now?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocco_Deluca_and_the_Burden Yesterday we went and saw Transformers. It was really cool. I admit that I never really watched Transformers before. It was a tiny bit before my time, or I had heard of it just never watched. I really only watched Beast Wars, which was the transformers as animals. I did find out that the guy who voiced Optimus Prime in the movie was the same from the cartoon, so that was really neat. Some of the lines in the movie were kind of corny, but once the Autobots show up, it's all awesomeness.
Now I shortly await Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
