Sad Day

Lydia, my rat, is gone. She passed away last night. At first I couldn't bring myself to cry, but then I eventually let loose before I fell asleep. It's hard to lose a pet because it feels like you're left with this gap of emptiness. She will be missed. I'll be sure to give comfort to Cocoa, so hopefully she won't feel depressed.

Tis a sad day.
