know any civil engineers?
Anyone know any civil engineers? Fairly successful ones, that work on large projects? One that, if someone said "I need you to design and oversee the construction of a unique floating oil rig" might not actually be able to do it themselves, but would at least have a good enough idea of where they would start? IE - someone that is past the "design a bolt" phase.
I'd like to have a couple of discussions with such a person. I have a few things I want to do while I still have working appendages, which given the last couple years experience might not be that much more time. I'm not going to successfully manage a career change without having some idea what I'm aiming for.
