For all of you that missed my wary ways... don't fret I haven't changed much!
OMG so typical "Alice" thing to do, cept college style:
So I'm coming home from frisbee practice right... (I had decided to wear jeans cause its 50 degrees out and my entire team now calls me "jeans") ...but that is beside the point and not what this story is about. So I'm walking back to my dorm and I say hi to this kid in my latin class. And he says:
Kid: Hey Alice, your last name is Barton right?
Me: Yeah... why?
Kid: Why haven't you been to practice?
Me: Ummm practice for what?
Kid: The Bachhae... The stage manager was asking for you the other day saying your name wrong... "Alise Barton" and I said you definitely didn't dissapear cause you are in my latin class
Me: Wait a second, I'm in The Bachhae! I got in!!! HOLY SHIT! Do I have a big part?
Kid: Well I mean all the parts are big but I don't know what you got
Me: Wow.... have I missed much? Jesus they probably kicked me out because I haven't been going...
Kid: No well we've only been practicing for a week and we haven't done much... but yeah we have practice today at 6 if you want to go
Me: Oh yeah definitely! I'll be there!
Of course it took me like an hour to find the place where we were practicing (it was in the top floor of some dorm) and when I got there I hadn't eaten, everyone was like what the fuck is this girl's problem? And the director was like, so you still wanna be in the play?
So the end result is that the lines assigned to people last week I obviously don't get, but they didn't cover that much so its all good. (I'm in the chorus, but its a Greek play, so the crapload of lines the chorus gets are split up so everyone gets a LOT of lines) ...And so life goes on, no damage done.
