Saturday Morning
I usually hate the gloomy weather that pervades sunny San Diego every May and June, but yesterday's rain was refreshing. Yes it's a hassle but a little water once in a while to cleanse the air is nice.
I'm sitting in the computer lab at North City College so I can finally finish my 12 hours to get my computer credit so I can graduate. My mom has been freaking out all year because my counselor has been sending letter after letter saying "YOUR SON/DAUGHTER MAY NOT GRADUATE AT THE END OF THE YEAR." Chill, mom. I'm getting it done.
Prom is in one week. To be honest I don't really care anymore. Probably just because I know how ridiculous and expensive it all is and because I still have a lot to do in preparation. Should be fun--I hope.
I started working at Panera yesterday. So far at the Bread Bash (the meeting they have five times a year for their associates), the orientation, and yesterday on my first shift I've been sampling their menu items. I'm getting paid to eat. Not really, but I like to think of it that way.
