So, my new job (for the next two weeks) is pretty good. Basically I'm organizing the files at the main Honda financial building. Thousands of files, which, by the way, really hurt when they cut into your palms. Believe me. But I'm not the only one there, so I'm really being paid to talk with some really cool people. It's really a great job. Minus the dozens of paper cuts up to my elbows.

My, since the World Cup has taken over my life, the most eventful part of today was watching the England/Trinidad game. Trinidad was supposed to lose every game, especially to England, considered one of the top 3 teams in the world right now. Unfortunately, England played like complete shit until the last 15-minutes. So basically, I almost had a heart attack when Trinidad almost scored at the end of the 1st half, and a few more minor freak-outs when England continued to waste great goal opportunities (especially by Crouch). Even Michael Owen looked like he was asleep out there. England finally scored in the 83rd minute, which, I swear, was the first time I breathed the whole game. The final was a 2-0 win, thanks to a beautiful goal by the underappreciated Gerard. I know I take soccer way too seriously, but I can't handle another disappointing game like that one.

But I would give anything to be watching that game back in Lancaster! Or better yet, in Cologne, where the next England game is being played!

I think I need to find another hobby ;-)
