i finally got my internet up and working, although the wireless connection is still down. the first wave of classes went well--i have a nice chunck of friends in my classes. and i found out that joan is my lab TA, so that kicks some ass.
i still am jobless--so if anyone knows of any good places that are hiring, let me know ASAP.
the apartment is basically all set, and its really nice--except for the new paint smell. but its still nice, everyone should come visit. that is all.
