Coming Soon: The Expendables 2!
Saw this on ComingSoon.net. It's the promo poster for The Expendables 2, the sequel to last year's action-fest starring Sylvester Stallone and pretty much anybody he's ever worked with in any movie, ever.

Hell yeah, I'm in.
I thought the first Expendables was a hoot...a big goofy popcorn flick calling back to the heyday of 80s and 90s action movies starring...well, a lot of the people whose names are on this poster. I'm sorry to hear that Mickey Rourke won't be back, and I also read that one stuntman was killed and another seriously injured on the set earlier in the week. I hate to hear about that, even while I stand in awe that such things don't happen more often, given just dangerous stunt work can be.
As for the movie(s) and this cast? Well, if there's ever going to be a "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" for the late 20th century, I always figured it'd be filled with the likes of John McClane, John Rambo, Martin Riggs, Harry Tasker, Luc Deveraux, and maybe even Ethan Hunt and Axel Foley, all sent out on their missions by retired Air Force general and former OSI field agent Steve Austin. With Max Headroom giving him shit. Since I can't have that, something like The Expendables will have to do.
However, as I look at this list and grin like a big goofy fanboy, one thing I think is missing from this list? THE LADIES! We need Pam Grier, Angelina Jolie, Sigourney Weaver, and Jennifer Garner in there. Heck, add Zoe Saldana, while we're at it.
The Expendables 2: Coming August 2012. Plenty of time to stock up on popcorn.
(Now, if I could just get that Tango & Cash sequel I've been holding out for....)
