Sorry about my previous post. Seems like I worried everyone, which was definitely not my intent. I was just trying to pre-explain why my typing is going to be more erratic than normal.
I can't really tell you what happened, cause I just don't know. I know I got hit in the head playing ball. That's it. The last thing I remember before waking up in the hospital, was going to Taco Bell (while not eating, mind you) and making fun of Tiffany for doing so. (for those who don't know, Tiffany is my brother's wife)
So the long and short of it is this. I got a really good concussion. It still feels like I as hit by a train. Or at least this is what I imagine it would feel like...never actually having had the train experience to compare to. So anyway, I have a few black spots in my vision now on the right side. It doesn't impair me for driving, but at the same time, they don't know if it will go away. In fact, if you ask me, they make it sound worse than it is. I think they do it to scare you, so that you will be more careful.
This headache is UNreal though. I have had a concussion before. A few of them in fact...but nothing like this. This just plain sucks.
Good news, is that I don't mind anymore. Darvocet will do that for you. It doesn't really make the pain go away... It makes you not care that the pain is there.
Well, that's how it does me anyway.
A lot of the swelling is gone down already, and the eye looks much less-cool than it did yesterday. Yesterday, it was all purplish and nasty... Today it just hurts without the cool gasp-effect when people see it. *sigh*
All the fun has already been taken out of my injury.
But anyway, I am fine. I am going to be perfectly fine. Promise.
I'll explain better next time so thatyou aren't all worrying. Sorry bout that.
I'm good. A ok.
