I knew it.
Damn it.
I knew once I saw Eames and Nichols working together, being all snarkily awesome together, smiling and joking and kicking perp ass, a traitorous voice would worm its way into my brain and whisper, "This is so shippable."
Damn it!
Because, you know, it wasn't like I was already trying to resist shipping Nichols and Wheeler (I will, eventually, but right now I'm in the "they're just friends and he's got a crush" stage), or that I was already shipping Goren/Eames and Eames/Wheeler. Not to mention that this episode strengthened my feelings for all three of those ships. Bobby calling Eames instead of Ross? You know he just missed hearing her voice. Nichols trying to tell Wheeler it's okay to be late, and then being adorably awkward with the "Oh, we should..." Also, the way Eames guided away Wheeler looking all concerned and caregiving, and how she seems to be the only one who actually visited her in the hospital (not once but twice)? There is SO FREAKING MUCH potential cuteness to be mined there. (Damn. Now I want fic where Wheeler cries after giving birth and Eames cuddles her and Wheeler feels all warm and safe and they cuddle cuddle cuddle and maybe kiss but the cuddling is the most important part and WHERE IS ALL THIS GODDAMN FLUFF COMING FROM I DO NOT *DO* THIS MUCH FLUFF ARGH BUT IT WOULD BE SO CUTE.)
People need to stop being so ridiculous attractive and having great chemistry, is what they need to be doing. :)
