I fail at etiquette, even when it's not in real life
Hey, is there some sort of etiquette for adding friends on LJ? Like, some sort of procedure or anything? I'm really paranoid because I don't want to scare off anybody or make them think I'm rude. Especially since I've been lurking in their journals for seriously half a year now and have kind of built them up in my mind as big, scarily awesome people. Probably, in retrospect, not wise, but it's taken this long just get up the courage to actually get a damn account and even begin the process. By now I had planned to have friended them all, but I only have a few of you so far (yes, you are scarily awesome people. And you all seem close-knit. And I'm pretty damn late to the online part of the fandom party).
