Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! My new domain is uppp! *awwww* Thank you's: Elizabeth and Jenn <333. I loooove you two!! And FINALLY, finally, after about a month of preparation! Damn those finals that got in the way! If you guys want the URL, IM me.
Ah. And it's such a lovely day here, too! It's all white and snowy and blizzardy. Most people hate the blizzards here in Chicago, but i politely disagree! I love snow. It's so beautiful, especially at night. Without the snow, it's always dark and gloomy looking outside. When it snows, the snow just lights up the night with a pinkish light so that it's not dark anymore!
And finals are over. I THINK I managed to pull off good enough grades for my finals so that I have an A in the class. That means a 5.0 GPA! Wow. Just barely though, for some classes. If you visited this domain the past few days, you would've heard how I almost DIDN'T get an A in French. I have the most revolting French teacher. Aren't French guys supposed to be hot? Well, he's not French, anyways. He was born right here in Illinois, in Evanston. But he's so SPIRITUALLY French. "Ah, ze American peoplez, zey arrrre koarse andd unworzy of ze beautiful French peoplez." In addition to his whole French superiority attitude, he also wears UGGs. That's right, UGGS on a man. Who would have thought it? And on a teacher too. Wrong in so many ways. Anyways. I get my grade report, a 89.14. I almost went crazy... .36 away from an A?? But I went to talk to him, "OH OH OH Let me guess Lucy. Let me guess, you want me to round your grade up to an A? Is that what you want?" said he, mockingly. And I could only reply, meekly, "Yes, I guess I am." The next 10 minutes consisted of him telling me how much he had done already to raise grades. At this point, I tapped into my fantastic acting skills, commanding a tear or two. Finally, he looked a bit sorry and said, "Alright, I'll drop everybody's lowest quiz grade." Hmph. Not too bad for someone whose only acting experience was in their 5th grade musical
The three day weekend has been nice. Me, Audrey, and Julia went to see the Phantom of the Opera on Thursday, after my last final. It was amazing! I fell in love with the music, scenery, constumes, everything! Emmy Rossum did a wonderful job, as did the Phantom. The only thing I didn't like about it was Raoul. How disgusting.
