I decided to grow up and be more realistic and have cancelled my long-term plans to work for Doctors Without Borders. I'll just focus on my education to the exclusion of all else and become an R.N., working when and where I can.

I have also abandoned the pipe dream of going to my parents' respective home villages with a Smile Train volunteer team and scrubbing in on cleft palate surgeries.
