bridge to nowhere?....or bridge to a new yacht?

You know what i heard on the news today? All these cities which were scheduled to be given all this money for the freeway construction that we have heard about, well a huge majority of them are asking to give that money back to the federal government so that it can be used to help the victims of hurrican katrina and the probable need for help from huricane rita. I thought that was one of the greatest things ive heard this year. what a great idea also considering that a large amount of that money is for construction projects of things that arent needed very much at all. However in classic rebutal the federal government refuses such an action and demands the money still be used for such national security sensitive projects such as completing a bicycle path in hoboken newjersey. The fact of the matter that everyone already knew and is the reason they will not use the money for hurricane relief is because a majority of these projects will not actually happen after the fact that the money has already been secured by congress. SO what happens to the money if its there but they decide not to build that 50 million dollar bridge to an island in alaska with 100 people living on it? I guess that money is just free for the taking isnt it. I would be willing to bet after that money disappears you will end up seeing multiple deposits to bush administration butt buddies like halliburton and evil fuckers like ken lay made large deposits into there bank accounts in the same week. You know at this point i would much rather have a president who broke into and robbed the democratic national headquaters at the watergate hotel much rather than the 10 mile long list of criminal acts this twit has committed. God bless america.

I hear these trains go by my apartment all the time and it just makes me want to get on a train to chicago really bad. But there isnt anyone there for me at the moment.
