We'll See What Happens (On a Lot of Fronts)

Got up early and got a few things done. Go me.

I've been having problems with my phone. I finally figured out that the plug on the charger isn't working, so I've been trying to charge the phone from my computer, but that's excruciatingly slow. I'm going to go get another charger from AT&T on Thursday.

I was good and ate some celery dipped in garlic hummus during my dinner break. Then I was bad and ate spaghetti with garlic bread when I came home for the night. Eat, drink, and be merry, because next year I will diet.

More stock analysts and economists are mentioning the R-word (recession). That would be good for me personally, but would suck for a lot of people. Not only could I go stock bargain-hunting, but colleges are counter-cyclical. That is, people decide that the economy sucks, and maybe they should go back to school and wait it out. In point of fact, that's what I did in the last recession. We'll see what happens.

IBM is buying Red Hat. Poor Red Hat.

I'm impressed that Mexicans, many of whom don't have much, are helping the refugees from Honduras. Good people. And we have a lot more, but we're slamming the doors shut. Love thy neighbor.

And no, Donald Trump, I don't think that you can amend the Constitution with an Executive Order. It's that pesky checks and balances thing.
