Yo soy una bibliotecaria
Mimi is following me everywhere I go, including the bathroom. Nice try, Mimi. I'm still going to work.
Dyed my hair before work, which sorely needed it. It's the last that I have of the color, and they've discontinued it, so I'll have to figure something out next time. Worked on Spanish flashcards while the dye was working.
The weird sometimes I remember Spanish and sometimes I don't is continuing. I was trying to think of the Spanish word for work, and came up with trabajo, which is correct. I came up with the words for one to eight in the lesson, but couldn't remember anything after that. Weird. (Note to self: "I'm at work to use the computer." "Estoy en el trabajo para usar la computadora." "I am a librarian." "Yo soy una bibliotecaria.")
I walked during dinner.
I read a blog post by someone who speaks several languages, and she suggested reading blog posts in the target language. I found a blog about Mexico that is in Spanish as well as English, so it'll give me bite-sized pieces of Spanish to chew on.
Now the Asian stock markets are dropping.
