Them's the Breaks (Not)
Had problems falling asleep because my hand hurt. Overslept, but that was okay because today was my late day.
Harlee: I'M NOT HAPPY. I'M LONELY. I WANT MY MOMMY! I spent some quality time with her, and she settled down.
I went to the doctor today about my hand. They told me to do "a walk-in" (urgent care). The nurse practitioner said that my hand was swollen near my thumb. I couldn't tell. They gave me some x-rays. The nurse practitioner thought that I had a hairline fracture, but the radiologist didn't think so. They wrapped my hand up, and gave me a prescription for a splint. Luckily, I was able to get the splint in Lincoln; they thought that I'd have to go to Springfield. I need to keep the splint on for a week. It does make my hand feel better. But it makes typing a bitch.
Missed most of the skating. Oh well. I hate that NBC will stop broadcasting if there aren't any more US skaters to go, and no US skaters will medal. I think skating is cool to watch, no matter who's doing it. x-posted from Dreamwidth
