Packing Day

Feb 26, 2024 00:41

I'm looking at other Road Scholar programs. One in Istanbul, which I've always wanted to see, and one in Portugal. Dad said, “Don’t go to Istanbul until things settle down in the Middle East.” I wouldn’t go any time soon.

I woke up at 7 AM and went back to sleep until 8:30. Threw myself together. Got the money for the packing guy. Now I’m having lunch.

Donovan the packing guy is here. He’s always so cheerful doing tedious tasks.

I’m having stressy IBS symptoms. Ugh.

Got the cat instructions and shot records printed out because I'm dropping them off to be boarded tomorrow.

Packed some books. Took out recycling. Started clearing the area by the front door because the movers will be taking stuff out there. Cleaned up the dining room floor.

I subscribed to The Week. I hope that it won't pile up.

Donovan is gone now after doing yeoman's work. All I have left is packing stuff on the dining table, the breezeway, and some stuff in the bathroom. I'll be able to sleep tonight and tomorrow night. (The movers are coming on Tuesday.) Yay.

Zara has taken over yet another chair, but I was already planning to take it. She has options :)

It's food time and nap time. Zara wants food too.

I overslept my nap. Boy, did I crash out. Fed the girls and myself. Zara was very good when I gave her her flea meds (Mimi will be a holy terror), but she noped out when I moved the cat carrier to stage it. I'm going to give her gabapentin tomorrow morning.

I'm going to give Mimi her flea meds and go to bed.

sleep, sick, mimi, move, zara, magazine, travel, cats, dad
