Dumpster Stuff, Apple Store, Macy's
Got myself showered, dressed, and made up before the organizer’s assistant got here.
I was thinking that it’s good that I have the new house. When I leave Mom’s house, I will be going towards something instead of away.
The organizer's helper has come and gone. We got everything that I wanted in the dumpster except for a metal stand for a hammock, which wouldn't come apart. I'm trying to find someone on TaskRabbit who would take it apart. Oh, and the guy was able to empty out the two planters that I want to take to the new house.
I found a TaskRabbit guy who thinks that he can take the metal stand apart. He’s coming on Tuesday. So yay.
Now it's lunch and nap time :) Had a nice nap, but I dreamed that I was a fugitive. I don’t remember why. Mimi and I have a routine in which she leaves me alone while I sleep, but she crawls in my lap when I sit up.
There is a box of my dad’s father’s stuff, so I sent my dad a list of what’s in there. He wants part of it. Sigh. I guess that I’ll throw the other stuff away.
The cats are edgy right now. The organizer guy did come in for a minute to get some WD-40. Plus, I took Zara to the vet yesterday. Too much going on for kitties to deal with!
I’m hanging out right now. I’ll leave for the Apple Store at 6PM for a 7PM appointment. It’s about 20 minutes to get there, so I will have 40 minutes to find the store in the shopping mall.
I found the mall and parked. I had been to the mall before with my mom, but I didn't realize that the mall was in two separate parts joined by a "skywalk". The Apple Store was in the other building from me. I figured out how to get over there and found the Apple Store. The guy there looked at my Apple Watch and decided that they should send it in to be fixed. It'll get sent back to the store and they'll text me when it gets in. Okay.
Because I was close to Macy's, I went to look at Estee Lauder stuff. The salesperson told me that I didn't want the set that I was looking at because it was for "young people" and that I needed more hydration. She sold me two full-sized moisturizers and two serums. I asked for a foundation, and she found a perfect match to my skin. She knew when to stop upselling me though and threw in a body moisturizer. She told me to contact her if I needed anything else.
Then I went to the car. And couldn't find it and was walking all over the place. I went into the mall and talked to a security guy who called someone who patrols the parking lot. And he found my car, and I apologized for the trouble.
Now I'm thinking that I'll get ready for bed and finish my Smothers Brothers book. It's quite good and is going through all the battles they had with the network.
