Laundry Day
Oh crud. I was at CVS yesterday, but forgot to pick up my meds.
The University of Illinois' basketball team is playing an exhibition game and donating the proceeds to Maui. Way to go, Illinois.
Cats: Mom, are you getting up? Mom, we want food? Etc.
I keep seeing articles that flip back and forth on whether to go to Maui. I still think that I made the right decision.
Mimi is shedding great gobs of fur. I ordered a brush to get here next week. I hope that she'll tolerate it well.
Had a nice nap. Woke up before my alarm. My cleaner wants to reschedule for Thursday. I'm wondering now about the CVS prescription because I don't see a message about it. I woke up with a stitch in my side though. And Zara was digging her claws in my leg.
Mom has a plethora of laundry-basket style baskets, so I used one of them to bring my clothes upstairs. I put Mom's clothes in the dryer. Oops, the gate didn't latch, so Zara is down in the basement. She'll come up when she's good and ready. Started a load of wash. Zara wants to come upstairs because she's hungry, but Mimi is by the gate. Drama ensued. Okay, I broke the stalemate and Zara is upstairs. Zara: "I came upstairs for food! Get with the program!"
Went to buy a travel case for my shaver. My debit card was declined, so I need to call the bank. I have plenty of money in the account.
I got my new selfie stick, which is charging, and my masks for my trip. I also got my pill organizer, which I need to fill, but I'll be gone over a week, so I need to take the bottles as well.
I was putting my clothes away when "bing," my stomach decided that it was hungry. (I'm trying to eat only when I'm hungry.) Had lunch. Folded my mom's clothes and brought them upstairs. Started another load of laundry.
Took a short nap and woke up before the alarm. Saw a message from the loss prevention unit of my bank and went downstairs to call them. While I was down there, I filled my pill organizer for the trip. Did dishes.
Oh crud. Amazon says that the Web cam is arriving tomorrow. I hope that it gets here before my lesson.
I went looking for my packing cubes and found them. I wonder if they'll fit in my small carryon bag though. I didn't see shoe bags, so I bought some.
Ate dinner. I'm feeling tired, though, so I'm thinking of going to bed.
